The Alpine Club of Canada promotes alpine experiences knowledge and culture; responsible access and excellent mountain skills. The club is the leading organization in Canada devoted to climbing, mountain culture, and issues related to alpine pursuits and ecology.
The club to additional annual camps, trips and training courses are also currently operating dozens of huts representing the most extensive backcountry accommodation system on the continent.
